Paragraph on My Visit to A Book Fair

Paragraph Name : My Visit to A Book Fair

Answer: A fair is a collection of various things for entertainment arranged in stalls on a large open ground where a huge number of people gather and enjoy themselves. In other words, a fair can be defined as an exhibition of different types of products. Recently, I have visited a fair. It was the book fair popularly known as Ekushey Boi Mela. It was held on the premises of the Bangla Academy. I went there with my parents. In the fair, I saw hundreds of bookstalls selling and displaying different types of books. Almost all of the bookstalls were arranged by various famous publishers of our country. A few bookstalls were also organised by some leading cultural organisations of the country. As it was evening there was a huge rush of people in the fair. So, it was difficult to walk freely at that time. I along with my parents, went to a number of bookstalls. Outside the Bangla Academy premises, there were some attractive handicrafts made of cane and clay which attracted me much. While moving around we met prof. Dr. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, a sagacious writer of Bengali literature. I bought three books written by Rabindranath Tagore. I also attended a seminar organised by the Bangla Academy. After passing some hours there, we started for home just after the sunset. Such a fair will certainly help our writers to enrich Bangla literature more.
