Answer: Traffic jam is a long queue of vehicles on a road that cannot move or that can move very slowly. Nowadays, traffic jam is a common problem in our towns and cities. It causes great sufferings to the passengers and the passers-by. mostly the increasing number of vehicles causes traffic jam. Day by day, the number of vehicles is increasing to meet the needs of the increased population. But the roads are not increasing in that proportion. Many vehicles moving on the same road at a time cause traffic jam. Many drivers do not abide by traffic rules. Besides, the traffic police are not sincere. The tendency of the bus drivers and conductors to get more and more passengers also causes traffic jam. Some drivers stop buses here and there and board and unboard passenger. This hampers the movement of other vehicles and causes traffic jam. The unlimited number of rickshaws plying on the streets is another cause of traffic jam. The general people are to face untold sufferings. They become late in their working places. Students, employees, businessmen, workers all are to suffer tremendously for this. During traffic jam, we feel extremely bored as it kills our valuable time. To relieve the passengers of the suffering of traffic jam, some steps should be taken by the government. The drivers who do not abide by traffic rules should be punished. The traffic authority should be active to enforce the traffic rules and maintain the discipline on the roads.

The ancient people led a very simple and easy life and there were less chaos and confusions among them. But the modern people have become busy, commercial and they are like ignorant armies’ clash by night. In the modern age, science has bestowed upon us many things. But at the same time, we cannot overlook the destruction of modern science. Science has protected a number of lives; yet it has destroyed million of lives. The ancient people believed in superstition but the modern people have become free from it. Every age has its own characteristics and the people have to survive with continuous efforts. Whether we like it or not, we cannot stop the forward march of time. Rather, We should try our best to utilize science and human resources to make this world an ideal dwelling place.

Answer: What we have around us including human beings, animals, plants, air water land etc. is called the environment. Air is one of the main elements of the environment. Mainly in cities and towns, air pollution is very acute. If we look at the causes of this pollution, we will see that the factories come first. Then comes the vehicles which exhaust harmful smokes. Vehicles run on petrol and diesel. As a result, smoke and fume are being produced that cause serious air pollution. Besides, burning of trash and indiscriminate discharge of human waste in the open spaces also cause air pollution. Serious air pollution occurs in industrial areas. To prevent such air pollution, we should be determined and take positive steps to make our air clean. We should shift the mills and factories away from the locality or residential areas. Excessive smoke-producing vehicles should be banned. Lead free petrol and compressed natural gas (CNG) should be used in vehicles to minimise air pollution. To live in an air pollution free city is really a dream. We should invest all our efforts to materialise this dream.

৪১তম বিসিএস এর নিয়োগ বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশ – 41th BCS Circular 2019 : ৪১তম বিসিএসের বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশ করেছে সরকারি কর্ম কমিশন (পিএসসি)। ৪১তম বিসিএসে ২ হাজার ১৬৬ জনকে নিয়োগ দেয়া হবে। সাধারণ ক্যাডারে ৬৪২ জন, প্রফেশনাল/টেকনিক্যাল ক্যাডারে ৬১৯ জন, শিক্ষা ক্যাডারে ৯০৫ জনকে নিয়োগ দেওয়া হবে।

এই বিসিএসে সবচেয়ে বেশি নিয়োগ দেয়া হবে শিক্ষা ক্যাডারে। শিক্ষা ক্যাডারে ক্যাডারে ৯০৫ জনকে নিয়োগ দেওয়া হবে। এর মধ্যে বিসিএস শিক্ষায় ৮৯২ জন প্রভাষক, কারিগরি শিক্ষা বিভাগে ১৩ জন প্রভাষক নেওয়া হবে।

প্রার্থীরা অনলাইনে www.bpsc.gov.bdওয়েবসাইটের বিপিএসসি-১ ফরম পূরণ করে আবেদন করতে পারবেন। অনলাইন আবেদনের সময় ৩০০ বাই ৩০০ পিক্সেল আকারের রঙিন ছবি এবং ৩০০ বাই ৮০ পিক্সেল আকারের স্বাক্ষরের স্ক্যান কপি আপলোড করতে হবে।

Man pollutes water by throwing waste into it and making unsanitary latrines by the banks of rivers or canals. Farmers use chemical fertilizers and insecticides in their fields. These are washed away by flood or rain water and pollute the nearby rivers, canal or pond water. Mills and factories throw their wastes and poisonous chemicals into rivers and pollute the water. Steamers, launches and even sail boats can pollute water by throwing oil food waste and human waste into the rivers and canals. By drinking polluted water, we become ill. Cholera typhoid, dysentery and other water-borne diseases attack us if we drink polluted water. Fishes die, even farming becomes impossible in severely polluted water. We can prevent water pollution by careful waste management. Farmers should use organic fertilizer instead of chemical fertilizer. Sanitary latrines should be used. Above all common people should be conscious of it.

Answer: Load shedding means the disruption of power supply due to extra load. That is to say, load shedding is to stop the supply of electricity when the the demand is more than the supply. Sometime the necessity of electricity surpasses the amount of its supply. At that time, the production is less than the actual demand. Then it becomes impossible to supply electricity to all areas due to the shortage. So the electricity supply authority stops supplying electricity for a short while to some areas by turns in order to bring a co- ordination between the supply and demand. As a result load shedding occurs to some areas. Load shedding causes a lot of problems. It occurs without any notice. So it disrupst running mills and factories. For that, the production is hampered. It causes harm to machineries. Emergency medical treatment in hospitals is badly affected. Computer users lose unsaved data. Study of students is greatly hampered and they suffer a lot. In a word all the activities related to electricity are hindered due to load shedding. To stop load shedding we have to set up more electricity plants and produce more electricity to meet our increasing demand. We also have to stop the unnecessary use of electricity.
